Tips to help out with fundraising
No wonder the 24h de Tremblant is the biggest fundraiser in the Canadian ski industry: more than 1000 participants work hard at collecting donations, raising more than a million dollars over a single weekend! For the teams, however, the fundraising stretches over weeks, if not several months, and they are always on the lookout for new ideas. Click here to see our tips for planning your fundraising.!
Get the young crowd involved
Every member of the family can pitch in with these easy-to-do ideas. Besides the usual wash-a-thon and gas-o-thon fundraisers, take advantage of the summer weather and offer mowing or landscaping services; it’s for a good cause – to benefit sick children or children in need. In the neighbourhood, dog walking services are often welcome, along with pet sitting and plant watering services while owners are on vacation.
Artistic type or practical doer?
Those of you who are gifted artists can hold a silent auction of your art. If you’re a more practical type, perhaps you could sell your used – but still good – sports equipment. You can also take advantage of your annual BBQ to hold a “50-50 draw” or just to talk about the cause of the 24h de Tremblant.
Enterprising spirit
Your close friends and acquaintances will always be more interested in supporting your cause if they feel involved. Now’s the time to rally your area business people so they can have their logo featured on your 24h de Tremblant bib, in exchange for a donation.
Share your ideas!
